Well we made it to Des Moines and met up with our doods in Outlive Outlast and Just Do It at CiCi's pizza buffet. This was probably a horrible decision for food, but eh, oh well.

We left at 1215
Remember when I said we were shooting for a 1030 departure but it probably wouldn't happen? Well it didn't. We had a nice drive to kansas city and Gabe made everyone in the van share one thing they liked about everyone in the van. Two people said they liked Jeff because he looks like wolverine haha. We stopped in KC to pickup some more copies of the 08 ep because we were running low. Tonight we'll be in Des Moines with some of our Iowa family, hopefully we find some epic party plans for after the show. It's New Years Eve kids!!!!

Getting ready to leave
Well after two days at home we are gearing up to get back on the road for roughly two weeks. Brilliant idea of the morning, prepare a big breakfast and reorganize all the merch. We're shooting for a 1030 departure, but odds are we'll be on the highway by noon. More to come later.

After party at home.
Well the second stop of tour was in our hometown, Columbia Missouri. We had shows booked in KC tomorrow and in Wichita on Tuesday but they fell through. So we have two days off, and we're home... Yes, two days off at home haha. So the show tonight was at the Artisan with Scouts (Columbia MO), Giants (Cedar Falls, IA), and Cascades (Columbia, MO, ex-Pharos). All the bands were amazing, and the turnout was great. We're now at the house that hardcore built, aka Dan, Lee, Caleb, Jawn, and Sid's crib, and everyone is over here enjoying the company of one another. Tour has been fun so far, I really wish the next two days weren't off days at home, because I really don't feel like I'm on tour, but meh, oh well. I'm hurting and feeling pretty tired from last night, but hey, gotta keep on keeping on. Ok, I'm tired and making no sense now, so I need to conclude this.

Welcome to Iowa
Welcome to Iowa, nothing upon nothing for miles and miles. A barren wasteland, but somewhere in the abyss is this monumentally epic hardcore scene. From the outsiders perspective, everyone gets along for the most part, which makes for some of the funnest (most fun?) shows ever. I love this place.

First night of tour.
Well last night was the first night of winter tour. It was held at the AMVETS in Waterloo, Iowa. Like 10 bands played the show, I took a ton of pics which will all get uploaded after tour. Getting to Iowa sucked big time. We drove through an ice storm and tried not to get "metallica'd" the whole way. Props to Lee for staying up all night the night before then driving us to our destination safe and sound. We had planned on heading home last night, but a snow storm held us back. Everyone crashed at the take control house, but I (Tony) decided to go party with some of the kids from the show who are headed to Columbia for our show tonight. So far, tour rules.
